We present recent results for the color-octet heavy-quark potential from the instanton vacuum. The potential is defined by the Wilson loop, which will be computed within the instanton-liquid model for the QCD vacuum. We find that the color-octet heavy-quark potential turns out to be similar to the color-singlet one. We discuss the instanton effects on the color-octet heavy-quark potential and the ... More

The Nonrelativistic Constituent Quark Model is a part of hadronic physics. Main NRCQM parameter-the initial constituent quark mass $M_q=m_e(\alpha/2\pi)^{-1}$=441\,MeV was recently confirmed by observation of exact representation of nucleon masses as integers of $m_e$. QED radiative correction $\alpha/2\pi$ is important parameter in the expanded version of NRCQM-a global model, which contains inte ... More

We study good, bad and not-even-bad diquarks on the lattice in a gauge-invariant formalism in full QCD. We establish their spectral masses with short extrapolations to the physical point, observing agreement with predictions. We find that only the good diquark has attractive quark-quark spatial correlations, with spherical shape and size $\sim 0.6~\rm{fm}$. Our results provide quantitative support ... More

In this talk, we present the recent results of the nucleon distribution amplitudes (DAs) and the nucleon decay constant $f_{N}$ in the leading twist accuracy based on the chiral quark-soliton model in the large $N_c$ limit. The nucleon DAs are expressed in terms of the discrete-level wave function and the quark-antiquark pair wave function in the presence of the self-consistent chiral fields. The ... More

We produce the light-front wave functions (LFWFs) of the nucleon from a basis light-front quantization approach. We employ the LFWFs to evaluate the electroweak form factors, and the valence quark unpolarized and polarized PDFs. Our predictions for the axial and tensor charges are comparable with the recent results from the recent lattice QCD simulations. The electromagnetic radii of the proton a ... More
