The unique tracking and PID capabilities of the ALICE detector allow for a precision study of the production cross sections of antinuclei at the LHC and measurements of their absorption in the detector material. In this contribution, recent results on light antinuclei production and the first ever measurement of the inelastic cross section of low momentum antideuteron and antihelium-3 will be pres ... More

Type: Leading parallel Session: Hadron decays, production and interactions-6
Track: Hadron Decays, Production and Interactions
LHCb has collected the world's largest sample of charmed hadrons. This sample is exploited to study at very high precision $D^0 -\overline{D}^0$ oscillations and to measure $C\!P$-violating asymmetries in processes involving $D$ mesons . New measurements from several decay modes are presented, as well as prospects for future sensitivities

We study the two body decay of mesons using the helicity formalism. We find that to explain the ratio of partials wave amplitudes (PWAs) of the decay, the Lagrangian must include derivative interactions in addition to contact interactions. We estimate the coupling constants for the $1^{++}\to1^{--}0^-$, $1^{+-}\to1^{--}0^-$, $2^{-+}\to2^{++}0^-$, and $2^{-+}\to1^{--}0^-$ decays by fitting the rati ... More

The $\rm\overline{K}N$ interaction, due to the residual strong force, is very different within the distances typical for an atomic nucleus. At about the nucleon size it has significant contributions from resonances and threshold effects which vanish with increasing distance. By selecting collisions from pp (1 fm) to Pb--Pb (5-9 fm) we can choose the average $\rm\overline{K}p$ distance and carry ou ... More

Employing the covariant baryon chiral perturbation theory, we calculate the LO and NLO two-pion exchange (TPE) contributions to NN interaction up to order O(p3). We compare the so-obtained NN phase shifts with those obtained in the nonrelativistic baryon chiral perturbation theory, which allows us to check the relativistic corrections to the medium-range part of NN interactions. We show that relat ... More
