We present a new framework for pion electroproduction off the proton, based on a general parametrization of transition amplitudes, including gauge invariance and threshold behavior constraints.Data with energies 1.13GeV<W<1.6GeV and Q2<6GeV^2 are included. The model is an extension of the Juelich-Bonn solution incorporating constraints from pion-induced and photoproduction data.Performing large-scal ... We present a lattice calculation of the leading corrections to the masses of nucleons and $\Delta$ resonances. These are obtained in QCD+QED at $1$st order in the Isospin Breaking parameters $\alpha_{EM}$, the electromagnetic coupling, and $\frac{{\hat{m}}_{d} - {\hat{m}}_{u}}{\Lambda_{QCD}}$, coming from the mass difference between $u$ and $d$ quarks.

Studies of the spectrum of the excited states of the nucleon (N*) with a focus on the search for states predicted in quark models but still not observed, known as the "missing" resonances", has represented a hot topic in hadron physics for several decades. Recently, several new (previously "missing") N* states have been discovered from a global multichannel analysis of exclusive photoproductio ... More

The present work extends earlier studies of the reaction gamma p->p pi0 eta and has been motivated by the recently claimed observation of a narrow structure around an excitation energy of 1678 MeV [JETP106(2017)693].The existence of this structure cannot be confirmed. Instead, a statistically significant structure in the M(p eta) invariant mass distribution near 1700MeV is observed. The most likel ... More
