Hypertriton production in large and small systems
Studying the properties of the 3ΛH gives insights about the interaction between the Λ and ordinary nucleons. ALICE measurements of the 3ΛH lifetime and binding energy demonstrate that 3ΛH is loosely bound. Therefore, the 3ΛH yields in pp and p-Pb collisions are very sensitive to nucleosynthesis models. The new ALICE measurements of 3ΛH production in small systems shown in this talk provide tight constraints on production models.
