We systematically calculate the mass spectrum of the higher excited
fully-charmed tetraquark $cc\bar c\bar c$ states including the
S-wave radial excitations and the P-wave states with a
nonrelativistic quark model. The recently observed $X(6900)$ state may be the
candidate of the first radially excited tetraquarks with
$J^{PC}=0^{++}$ or $2^{++}$, or the $1^{+-}$ or $2^{-+}$ P-wave
states b

Partial wave analysis is performed, with effective potentials as dynamical inputs, to scrutinize the recent LHCb data on the di-$J/\psi$ invariant mass spectrum. Coupled-channel effects are incorporated in the production amplitude via final state interactions. The LHCb data can be well described. A dynamically generated pole structure, which can be identified as the $X(6900)$ state, is found. Our

The mass of tetraquark states of all $qq\bar q\bar q$, $qc\bar q \bar c$, and $cc\bar c \bar c$ quark configurations are evaluated in a constituent quark model, where the Cornell-like potential and one-gluon exchange spin-spin coupling are employed. Three mass-dependent coupling parameters are proposed, and all model parameters are predetermined by comparing the theoretical and experimental masses
