Abstract

The Multi-Purpose Detector is constructed at Joint Institute for Nuclear Research at NICA Complex. MPD will study the phase diagram of QCD matter at maximum baryonic density, the phase transition between the deconfined and hadronic matter and the critical point. The status of the production and assembly of the detector will be reported on. Design performance for measurement of spectra of identified hadrons, collective flows and correlation measurements will be presented.
