We review recent work on Ward Identities (WI) and Effective Theories within the context of the QCD transition at finite temperature. Thermal resonances $f_0(500)$ and $K_0^*(700)$ generated within Unitarized Chiral Perturbation Theory (ChPT) scattering at finite temperature allow to describe scalar susceptibilities, which combined with WI yield interesting conclusions regarding the interplay be

The mass of a nucleon consists of chiral variant and invariant components. Since their medium properties are different, the composition can be examined through matter in extreme conditions such as neutron stars. Using a parity doublet model for nuclear matter, we study the mass composition of nucleons through construction of neutron star equations of state assuming crossover from hadron to quark.

Confinement/deconfinement phase diagram within a five-dimensional fully anisotropic holographic model supported by Einstein-dilaton-three-Maxwell action. One of the Maxwell fields provides chemical potential, the second Maxwell field represents real spacial anisotropy of the QGP produced in heavy-ion collisions and the third Maxwell field is related to an external magnetic field.

The search for the QCD critical point is currently underway using relativistic heavy-ion experiemnts. I will review the different approaches used in the description of hot and ultradense baryonic matter in and out of equilibrium when searching for the QCD critical point. Future perspectives are discussed to map out the phase diagram of strongly interacting matter from heavy ion collisions to neutr

The Multi-Purpose Detector is constructed at Joint Institute for
Nuclear Research at NICA Complex. MPD will study the phase
diagram of QCD matter at maximum baryonic density, the phase
transition between the deconfined and hadronic matter and the critical
point. The status of the production and assembly of the detector will
be reported on. Design performance for measurement of spectra of
