Abstract
Describing hadronic structure is one of the most intriguing problems in physics. GPDs provide exhaustive information on this respect. Starting from pion LFWFs and relying on the covariant extension formalism, we design a novel path towards GPD models fulfilling every theoretical constraint required by QCD. We exploit them to obtain predictions for DVCS on pions at EIC kinematics, showing gluon dominance of CFFs' behavior and the existence of a measurable asymmetry on Sullivan-process' amplitude.
