Abstract

Cross-section measurements in hadronic collisions play a crucial role in the physics program of ALICE, as they provide a baseline for normalization. A precise knowledge of the delivered luminosity is required, which can be obtained by combining information from the LHC instrumentation and the ALICE detector collected during the van der Meer scan. This contribution presents a review of the ALICE luminosity determination methodology and results from LHC Run 2.
