We propose a deep learning method that identifies the pole configuration of a coupled-channel scattering, i.e., the number of nearby poles in each Riemann sheet associated with the structures in the amplitude. A generic parametrized S-matrix is used to generate the dataset and curriculum learning is used for the training. We apply our method to the elastic $\pi N$ scattering and found that the obs ... More

We compute the *s*-wave masses of charmonium, a simple heavy quark bound state, using a quantum processor. We encode a Hamiltonian in a 3-qubit quantum circuit and measure its expectation value with respect to a ground state ansatz. Our results agree with classical calculations to high accuracy. This research constitutes the first quantum computation of a simple quark bound state, providing a step ... More

To determine the fraction of a hadronic molecule component of exotic hadrons in a model-independent manner, we consider the weak-binding relation. However, it dose not work well for the systems with a large effective range such as $\Lambda_c(2595)$. We introduce the range correction to the relation and we perform the numerical calculation to search for the parameter regions where the weak-binding ... More

We report results from a study of hadronic transitions of the $\chi_{bJ}(nP)$ states of bottomonium at Belle. The P-wave states are reconstructed in transitions to the $Upsilon(1S)$ with the emission of an $\omega$ meson. The transitions of the n=2 triplet states provide a unique laboratory in which to study NRQCD, as the kinematic threshold for production of an $\omega$ and $\Upsilon(1S)$ lie ... More

A new database is under construction to offer a complete collection of published information on hypernuclei. A key aspect is the combination of measurements to average values in a systematic manner together with a proper treatment of errors. The focus lies on lifetimes, Lambda binding energies and excitations of hypernuclei. The capability of the database will be demonstrated for the case of th ... More
