The Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB e+e− collider plans to collect 50 times as much data as the previous generation of experiments. Belle II offers unique capabilities to use the bottomonium system (pairs of bottom/anti-bottom quarks) as a pathway to study new particles and physics beyond the Standard Model. We present the potential for studying exotic multi-quark states, and searching lept ... More

In order to understand the nature of the XYZ particles, theoretical predictions of the various XYZ decay modes are essential. In this work, we focus on the semi-inclusive decay of heavy quarkonium hybrids into traditional quarkonium in the EFT framework. We find that our numerical results of the decay rates are different from the previous studies. We also develop a systematic framework in which th ... More

The dynamical diquark model, which combines the Born-Oppenheimer approximation with the most minimal Hamiltonian, accommodates all known exotics in all flavor sectors. Here we apply it to the newly observed hidden-charm, open-strange exotics, using Hamiltonian parameters previously computed in other sectors. The mass splitting of Z_cs states indicates substantial SU(3) mixing between all 1+ states ... More

The Born-Oppenheimer approximation provides a description of heavy-quark mesons firmly based on quenched lattice QCD. The diabatic framework extends this description through the incorporation of unquenched lattice QCD data on string breaking. This allows for a unified description of conventional quarkonium, made of $Q\bar{Q}$, and unconventional quarkoniumlike mesons, containing meson-meson compo ... More

The existence of the recent $Z_{cs}(3985)^-$ can be expected from the well-established $Z_c(3900)$ and $Z_c(4020)$ states using SU(3) flavor symmetry. In this talk, we study the $Z_{cs}$ structure in a coupled-channels calculation, in the framework of a chiral constituent quark model which was used to explain the $Z_c$ structures. We are able to reproduce the $K^+$ recoil-mass spectrum without any ... More
