Abstract
We discuss the distinguishing properties of the correlation functions of multiquark currents (tetra, penta, etc) compared to the correlation functions of bilinear and trilinear quark currents. Based on these properties, we demonstrate a proper way to construct QCD sum rules for exotic multiquark states.
