Abstract
We used the diffusion Monte Carlo method to solve the Schrodinger equation describing several tetraquark systems within the quark model framework. We applied this technique both to all-heavy and to groupings with a couple of light quarks, in particular, to the structure of X(3872). Our approach produced a meson-meson configuration for that arrangement but, contrarily to the usual $D^0\bar{D}^{\ast0}$ assumption, we found it to be a mixture of $\omega J/\psi$ and $\rho J/\psi$ pairs.
