Abstract content
Direct cosmic ray muon fluxes (muons produced in the atmosphere in j/psi-meson decays) are calculated on the base of accelerator data on j/psi production in a nucleon-nucleus interaction and of their extrapolation to higher energies. It is shown that bremsstrahlung photons from these muons are to be taken into account when EAS data at very high energies are interpreted (for example, when a possibility to use inclined EAS for searching cosmic neutrinos is considered).
