Abstract SZ2/XD is a hard x-ray detector system, which was built for monitoring of the transient radiations, such as the gamma-ray burst (GRB) and solar flares. It is composed of two x-ray sub-detectors covering 10-800 keV. It had operated successfully on the Chinese spacecraft SZ2 for about 6 months .Hundreds burst- like events were observed, which include tens of GRB, near hundred of Solar Flares and area-related particle precipitation events. The design of the detector and its electronics system was suitable to size, power consumption and weight requirements respectively. This paper presents the introduction of SZ2/XD,its electronics system and some of its results .
