Abstract content
A sample of selected active galactic nuclei (AGN) was observed from 2005 to 2007 with the High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S.), an array of imaging atmospheric-Cherenkov telescopes in Namibia. Significant detections for some of these objects are reported elsewhere. Integral flux upper limits for the other candidate very-high-energy (VHE; >100 GeV) gamma-ray emitters will be presented.
