HEAVY MESONS PHOTOPRODUCTION AT DISTINCT COLLISION GEOMETRIES IN LHC

Content

Perturbative Quantum Chromodynamics is employed to describe the strong interaction among quarks and gluons, and provide their dynamics. The gluons under extreme conditions are supposed to recombine at low momentum (low x), presenting saturation which would restore unitarity. This phenomenon is not yet fully described analytically, challenging both theory and experiment. The Ultraperipheral, and Peripheral pA and AA collisions provide means to explore this issue, mainly with photoproduced heavy mesons, J/Psis and Upsilons, mostly gluons dependent. We explore phenomenologicaly these systems in dipole picture at different geometries, for several valuable cross sections distributions (centrality, transverse momentum, rapidity) to provide insights to non-linear effects required in low x physics. Compairison with LHC data is presented.
