DES (Rosenfeld, Rogério)

Content

The Dark Energy Survey (DES) was a photometric galaxy survey conducted from 2013 to 2019 at the Blanco telescope in Chile using DECam, a digital camera with 570 megapixels taking pictures of an area corresponding to 1/8 of the full sky with 5 filters. More than 300 million galaxies were observed, together with more than 1500 type Ia supernovae. I will review some of the results obtained so far by the analyses of this amazing data set.
