The process of hadronization, where an energetic colored quark evolves into a color-singlet hadron, can be studied through semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering (SIDIS). By implanting this process in nuclear medium and comparing modifications in observables between large and small nuclei, we can gain insights into hadronization mechanisms at the femtometer scale. Experimental data from HERMES and CLAS experiments show that while light meson production on nuclei is well understood, baryon production exhibits puzzling patterns not well described by current models. In this talk, I will explore the hypothesis that these deviations may be attributed to the presence of diquarks in protons and lambda baryons.
