We present recent results on the distribution amplitudes of heavy-light mesons and quarkonia in the SDE-BSE approach to hadron physics. To this end, the ladder kernel of the Bethe-Salpeter equation is amended by introducing a different flavor dependence of the dressing functions in the heavy-quark sector. Compared to earlier work this allows for the simultaneous calculation of the mass spectrum an ... More

This work shows how the mass of the first radial excited of hadrons composed of quarks u, d, s, c and b are calculated in a model called Contact Interaction (CI). The mathematical basis for this analysis is implemented through the use of CI in the Schwinger-Dyson equations (SDE) and the Bethe-Salpeter (BS) equations for mesons and diquarks. Later this model was implemented in the Faddeev equatio ... More

The ICARUS experiment employs the Liquid Argon Time Projection Chamber technology to search for sterile neutrino signatures. This experiment is the Far Detector of the Short-Baseline Neutrino program (SBN) at Fermilab, which uses the Booster beam and is located 103 mrad off-axis from the NuMI beamline. The NuMI neutrinos interactions will provide the basis for ν-Ar cross-section measurements as w ... More

In this talk, we discuss the effect of electric and magnetic field on the QCD phase transition using the symmetry preserving confining vector-vector contact interaction model of quarks in the Schwinger-Dyson equation perspectives.

In this work we explore the possibility of incorporating particle physics motivated scalar fields to the dark matter cosmological model. In this landscape, we consider the classical complex scalar field in a certain region in the parameter space of the model that increases the number of neutrino species Neff, in order to be consistent with the observed abundance of light elements produced at Big ... The standard formalism for calculating the S-matrix in quantum field theory is based on path integrals over field configurations, and can be formulated as a diagrammatic perturbative method. Alternative to this approach, there is the Worldline formalism based on first-quantized relativistic particle path integrals. Recently, a novel representation based on this formalism of the fermion propagato ... More
