Abstract
The pre-equilibrium (PE) stage of quark-gluon plasma is prominent research problem in heavy ion community, and is mostly studied in low-pt sector. We propose to use high-pt particles energy loss instead, by employing our DREENA-B framework, which is suitable for analytically exploring distinct PE energy loss cases. We obtain that suppression is sensitive to diverse PE cases, and could elucidate the PE dynamics. However, higher-precision measurements are required for more reliable conclusions.
