Abstract

We present a study of centrality classes based on the number of charged particles for the Multi-Purpose Detector (MPD) at NICA complex. We compare the centrality classes for different set of experimental conditions: midrapidity regions, number of hits and transverse momentum of registered particles in the TPC sub-detector for Bi+Bi collisions at $\sqrt{S_{NN}}$ = 7.7 , 9 and 9.46 GeV generated by the statistical Monte Carlo generator model: Ultrarelativistic Quantum Molecular Dynamics (UrQMD).
