Abstract
The branching ratio of $\Lambda_b\rightarrow \Lambda_{c}e^{-}\bar{\nu}{e}$ is studied in the framework of the phenomenological quark model. The matrix elements of semileptonic decay are written in terms of the overlap integrals of the baryon wave function. In the heavy quark limit, the six form factors are related to a unique Isgur-Wise function. The calculated branching ratio of $\Lambda{b}$ baryon is consistent with the available experimental observations.
