Light kaonic atoms high precision X-ray spectroscopy at the DAFNE collider: the SIDDHARTA-2 experiment

The light kaonic atoms high precision X-ray spectroscopy is a key tool for understanding the low-energy QCD in the strangeness sector. The SIDDHARTA-2 collaboration is ready to perform the challenging measurement of the kaonic deuterium transitions to the fundamental level at the DAΦNE collider of the INFN-LNF. The contribution presents the experimental apparatus and the first results obtained during the run in the commissioning phase of DAΦNE towards the kaonic deuterium run.
