Abstract

Lattice QCD calculations of matrix elements of light nuclei can constrain nuclear effective field theories and models that are needed to interpret experimental searches for new physics using nuclei as targets. I will review recent lattice QCD calculations of two-body axial currents, moments of nuclear PDFs, and other nuclear matrix elements. I will also discuss recent progress on variational methods for controlling excited-state effects in lattice QCD calculations of multi-baryon systems.
