Franco Rimondi Association
Franco Rimondi was a Professor of Physics at the University of Bologna, and was well known within the community of physicists interested in multiparticle dynamics. He suddenly passed away in 2011 and the Associazione Franco Rimondi, founded in 2012 following the will of people to honor his memory, intends to favor the research and studies in the field of High Energy Physics.
The main purpose of the Association is to promote activities like scholarship funding, research grants and awards for young researcher who have distinguished themselves for their activities, and to support the organization of seminars, schools and conferences, their main subject being the research in High Energy Physics.
The Franco Rimondi Association will award a cash prize of 1000 Euros for the two best posters presented at the Symposium by students and young Post-docs.
