Description

We present recent results obtained through the phenomenology of Fragmentation Functions of a parton to a pion pair. We will discuss the fitting techniques for both the Dihadron Fragmentation Functions themselves as well as some Parton Distribution Functions (PDF) that can be extracted from data thanks to the knowledge of the fragmentation part. Those include the transversity PDF and the subleading-twist scalar PDF e(x). We present future bounds from soon-to-be-released JLab data as well as proposed experiments. The determination of the related charges of the nucleons (tensor and scalar) as well as the impact of the latter on search for physics beyond the standard model are also discussed.
