The Latin American Workshop on Electromagnetic Effects in QCD aims to bring together practitioners and students to discuss the recent progress of the research focused on the effects of electromagnetic fields on the physics of strongly interacting matter, to provide a forum where experts of the latin-american community meet with peers from the rest of the world in a friendly and stimulating environment. This is the second version of the Workshop following up on the first one that took place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in July 2024. Through presentations, discussions, and collaborations, participants will discuss the latest advancements, theoretical frameworks, and phenomenological studies in this area at the forefront of current scientific efforts in fundamental research with the aim of strengthening the research ties among the practitioners of the Latin-American community with colleagues from the rest of the world working in this field. We warmly invite all participants of this workshop to also consider attending the 6th Workshop on Nonperturbative Aspects of QCD, an event that will cover topics of strong interest to our community and will also take place in Chile, immediately following our meeting.
