Content
This presentation will discuss on the experimental methods used at the LHC to probe the intense electromagnetic fields generated in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions. We will examine the use of soft probes, such as charge-dependent azimuthal correlations and dilepton production from resonance decays, reviewing current methodologies and challenges. Pending the timely approval of ongoing analyses, we also aim to present new findings. The primary goal of this presentation is to engage with theorists: to critically assess the current landscape and to gather insights that will shape the next data analyses.
