In this talk I will give an overview on recent results on the spectrum and
properties of conventional and exotic hadrons as obtained in the framework
of Dyson-Schwinger and Bethe-Salpeter equations. Particular emphasis is given
on a pedagogical introduction into the method. I will discuss strategies of
