Experimental status of CP Violation in Bs mixing.
Content
Dear all,
I want to give a contribution about the CP Violation in Bs mixing. The idea is to discuss the latest references by ATLAS, LHCb, and CMS in the $B_{s}->J/\psi\phi$ decay channel:
ATLAS: arXiv:2001.07115.
LHCb: Eur. Phys. J. C 79 (2019) 706, arXiv:1906.08356.
CMS: Phys. Lett. B 816 (2021) 136188, arXiv:2007.02434.
It will be very interesting to talk regarding tensions between experiments.
In advance thank you very much.
Best regards,
Jhovanny
Summary
In this talk, we will discuss the latest measurement of the CP-violation and other physics parameters in the $B_{s}->J/\psi\phi$ decay channel performed by the ATLAS, CMS and LHCb experiments. The measurements are based on a data set collected at the LHC in proton-proton collisions at a center of mass energy of 13 TeV. Besides the CP violating phase $\phi_{s}$, the width difference between the Bs meson mass eigenstates $\Delta\Gamma_{s}$ and the average decay width $\Gamma_{s}$ are measured. The measured values are then combined with those collected at 8 TeV.
