MexNICA Collaboration Winter Meeting 2020

This is the end-of-the-year general meeting for the MexNICA collaboration. The meeting will serve as a way to summarize the work done during 2020 in the experimental, phenomenological and theoretical areas performed by the members of the MexNICA and their collaborators. It is also an opportunity to plan for the road ahead within the collaboration and towards the first beam at MPD-NICA. The general topics to be discussed are: heavy-ion physics at MPD and at NICA energies, the QCD phase diagram, QGP formation/evolution studies and relevant observables, simulations fo heavy-ion collisions, simulations for physics and experiment, Lattice and effective models as tools to explore the QCD phase diagram, instrumentation and software development for MPD-NICA, detector design and electronic/mechanic prototyping, beam tests, etc.
