Description |
The NOvA long-baseline neutrino experiment at Fermilab studies neutrino oscillations using a beam mainly composed by muon neutrinos. Its functionally identical, finely granulated, two detectors allow NOvA to measure the (dis)appearance of (muon) electron neutrinos, making it possible to probe the (atmospheric) oscillation parameters, $\Delta m^2_{32}$, $\theta_{23}$, and the CP violating phase $\delta_{CP}$, as well as the neutrino mass hierarchy. After a few words about the physics of neutrino oscillations and the NOvA experiment itself, we will present the latest NOvA measurements of the neutrino oscillation parameters using neutrinos and antineutrinos, and our expectations for the future. |
