Content
Coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering (Cevns) is a process that had been predicted since the 70's and has been recently measured in two different detectors by the COHERENT collaboration. In this talk I will concentrate in the implications of these results on sterile neutrinos. I will also discuss future perspectives in this lively field. Implications for other tests of the Standard Model, such as a measurement of the weak mixing angle will be briefly discussed.
