Non-standard interactions (NSIs), possible sub-leading effects originating from new physics beyond the Standard Model, may affect the propagation of neutrinos and eventually contribute to measurements of neutrino oscillations. In this talk, we will discuss how NSIs will affect the determination of neutrino mass hierarchy and the Dirac CP phase in a model-independent way. Furthermore, considering model-dependent NSIs, depending on different constraints coming from non-oscillation experiments which restrict NSIs parameter space, we discuss their importance for the upcoming long-baseline experiment DUNE.
