A study to implement an algorithm to reconstruct gamma ray events measured by the HAWC detector, whose core has arrived outside the detection network of the experiment is presented. The main goal is to improve the reconstruction of the energy regardless of the location where the atmospheric shower arrives to the detector. The study consists of exploring parameters based on the shape of the footpreant produced by the gamma ray air shower on the detector. The current status of the work is shown.

Se presenta un estudio en el que se busca implementar un algoritmo para reconstruir eventos de rayos gamma medidos por los detectores del experimento HAWC, cuyo core haya llegado fuera de la red de detección del experimento, esto con el propósito de mejorar la reconstrucción de la energía independientemente de la ubicación en la que caigan los chubascos atmosféricos. El estudio consiste en explorar parámetros basados en la forma de la huella del chubasco producido por los rayos gamma sobre el detector. Se mostrará el estado actual del trabajo.
