Description
The multi-particle productions in proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at energies up to 7 TeV, display many interesting features which cannot be explained with the existing knowledge on proton proton collisions at pre-LHC energies. In fact, the proton-proton events at the LHC, particularly the high-multiplicity ones, besides making just the reference line for studying the features of the relativistic heavy-ion collision data, attract much interest as a potential tool for revealing new physics. Some of the features of the pp collisions at LHC will be discussed in terms of global observables, like multiplicity and transverse momentum distributions.
