Session: Plenaries Monday
Track: Particles
Effective SUSY
Presented by Prof. Jihn E. KIM on 4/6/2012 at 20:30
Session: Plenaries Monday
Track: Particles
Gamma-ray bursts have been detected at photon energies up to tens of GeV, and there are reasons to believe that they emit at least up to TeV energies, via leptonic or/and hadronic mechanisms. I review some recent developments in the GeV photon phenomenology in the light of Fermi observations, as well as recent related theoretical work. I discuss then the possibility of accelerating cosmic rays ... More

Session: Plenaries Monday
We will review the status of gravitino Dark Matter and other very weakly interacting particles in the light of LHC supersymmetry searches.
Presented by Prof. Laura COVI on 4/6/2012 at 16:45
Session: Plenaries Monday
Track: Particles
Neutrinos and dark matter
Presented by Prof. Manfred LINDNER on 4/6/2012 at 9:00
Session: Plenaries Monday
I shall discuss some Non-universal Gaugino mass models of Supergravisty giving cosmologically compatible Dark Matter relic density. The predictions of these models for LHC and the various Dark Matter detection experiments will be briefly discussed.
Presented by Prof. D. P. ROY on 4/6/2012 at 17:30
Session: Plenaries Monday
Cosmic rays have been observed up to several 10^20 eV through the showers of secondary particles they induce in the atmosphere. Their existence poses formidable challenges and exciting prospects at the same time: Their origin and sources have not been identified yet, but they already allow to test physics at center of mass energies unattained in the laboratory, albeit in a rather indirect way ...
