| Description |
I will review the D-brane inflationary scenario in string theory, where the inflaton finds a natural geometrical interpretation in terms of D-branes' positions in the compact space. I will then discuss some of the cosmological implications of these scenarios, which can leave an imprint in our observable universe, such as cosmic (super)strings and its possible detection. |
