Abstract
This work investigates the geometrical optimization of the Muon Identifier (MID) to maximize particle acceptance using Monte Carlo simulations implemented in ROOT. A simplified detector model is employed to study the effects of module orientation and spacing on geometrical acceptance. Systematic scans of transverse tilt, longitudinal inclination, and inter-ring distance are performed to identify favorable configurations. Acceptance is evaluated both for all intersecting particle trajectories and under a minimum path-length requirement of 0.5 cm within the sensitive material. The results reveal variations in acceptance across geometrical configurations, providing a foundation for identifying optimal detector arrangements and further optimization studies.
