Summary
This research explores the viability of the DarkBS model, an extension of the Standard Model (SM) designed to address the mystery of Dark Matter (DM). The model proposes a WIMP candidate and a new mediator boson, 𝑍′. We constrain the model parameters using a phenomenological approach, numerically computing limits on the DM relic abundance, bounds imposed by Direct Detection (DD) experiments, and searches for the production of the new mediator boson at high energies. This work provides concrete search targets for future experiments by defining the properties of the new physics required for the DarkBS model to remain viable.
