VenueThe Celebration will be held in Malargüe, a city in the southwest part of the province of Mendoza, Argentina, home of the Pierre Auger Observatory. The whole program will take place at the Thesaurus Conventions and Exhibitions Center.
Travel InformationMalargüe is located 330 km from Mendoza International Airport, which offers direct flights from Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo in Brazil and Santiago in Chile. Additionally, there are direct flights from Buenos Aires (AEP) to the city of San Rafael (AFA), situated 185 km from Malargüe. It is important to note that Buenos Aires has two airports: one international (EZE) and one national (AEP). Flights to Mendoza are also available from the International airport (EZE). Please consider the travel time if you need to change airports in Buenos Aires. It is recommended to plan at least one night's stay in Buenos Aires if you have to change airports. From the city of Mendoza, you can rent a car and drive to Malargüe (approximately 3 and a half hours) or take a long-distance bus. The drive from San Rafael is under 2 hours, and bus transportation is also available. Special bus and car transfers will be organized from Mendoza Airport to Malargüe for participants to the Celebration arriving on Friday, the 15th, and Monday, the 18th. Please inform us during registration if you will require transportation on our buses.
