“Neutrino Program at Fermilab”
Abstract
The discovery of neutrino oscillations opened new windows for the study of neutrino physics. In this talk, I will give an overview of the neutrino physics program at Fermilab and the remaining questions for the neutrino physics. I will highlight the status of Short-Baseline program at Fermilab and status of Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) experiment. The main goals for the Short-Baseline program include searches for new physics - particularly eV-scale sterile neutrinos and detailed studies of neutrino-nucleus interactions at the GeV energy scale. DUNE has a broad physics program that includes determining the neutrino mass hierarchy, measuring delta_CP, making precise measurements of the oscillation parameters governing electron neutrino appearance and muon neutrino disappearance and searching for other physics beyond the Standard Model.
