We study the neutrinoless double beta decays of hyperons triggered by an effective one loop mechanism involving baryons and Majorana neutrinos as intermediate states. We provide a reliable estimation of their maximum branching fractions by assuming a reasonable momentum dependence for the hadronic transition form factors in the loop integral. We explore two interesting scenarios compatible with the current experimental limits, namely, the contributions of three Majorana light neutrinos, and the effects of heavy Majorana masses around TeV predicted by the so-called low-scale seesaw models.
