In this talk we will discuss a precise calculation of the relic density and temperature evolution of dark matter (DM) including effects from three different sectors: DM sector, light scalar mediator sector and standard model (SM) sector. We derive a set of four coupled Boltzmann equations in the context of a Majorana fermion dark matter model where DM communicates with the SM via a light scalar mediator. We compare our results against the standard relic density computation.
