Summary

The Liquid Argon (LAr) Time Projection Chambers (TPCs) were chosen for different neutrino experiments for short and long-baseline detectors. An important component in the event reconstruction in LAr TPCs is the scintillation-light of the noble liquid. For the size of the TPCs, the light detection system needs to have a large coverage, to detect and trigger high energy events, and to detect low energy interactions. The photodetector X-ARAPUCA will be part of the light detection system of DUNE far detector single-phase, and it was developed to increase the effective collection area of Silicon Photomultipliers (SiPMs), through the shifting and trapping of LAr scintillation light. In this contribution, the first test in LAr of X-ARAPUCA single and double side prototypes are presented, its detection efficiency was determined using a detailed Monte Carlo simulation.
