The closest International airports with intercontinental connections are Ezeiza (EZE) airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina and  Arturo Merino Benítez (SCL) airport in Santiago, Chile.

Getting there from Buenos Aires

  • By domestic flight + bus/car: from Ezeiza (EZE) or Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP) you can book a flight to San Rafael airport (AFA) or to Mendoza airport (MDZ). In case you need a transfer Ezeiza - Aeroparque or Retiro Bus Terminal please check Manuel Tienda Leon website or directly look for their front office at the Ezeiza terminal and book a transfer by bus or remis (taxi). For booking the bus connection to Malargüe please check omnilineas or busbud websites. You better reach the bus terminals by taxi. The journey to Malargüe lasts approx. 2.40 hs from San Rafael and 6 hs from Mendoza. Car rental is also an option, please refer to standard rental companies. 
  • By bus: night bus connections to San Rafael (12-14 hs) are possible from Buenos Aires Terminal de Omnibus (Retiro). From San Rafael Bus Terminal you can book a bus ticket to Malargüe.
