Transverse momentum dependent parton evolution - a possibility for precision physics at the LHC?

Abstract
We present recent results on the development of transverse momentum dependent splittings kernels which generalize both BFKL and DGLAP evolution kernels. We provide a short discussion of the underlying theoretical framework and discuss possible improvements in theoretical precision for the description of the LHC events.
