Bulk observables in small colliding systems combining CGC and PYTHIA
Abstract content
We combine the IP-Glasma model of Color Glass Condensate with PYTHIA to study bulk observables in small colliding systems at LHC. This framework combines the Classical Yang-Mills dynamics of multi-gluon productions and a scheme of fragmentation based on Lund string model for the production of hadrons. In particular we study the high multiplicity events in which observations are often attributed to final state collective effects. We find that descriptions based on purely initial state dynamics can be obtained in our framework for a number of observables like two particle ridge-like correlations, the particle mass dependence of p_T and v_2 (p_T).
