Summary
The study of the high multiplicity pp events has become important due to the recent results from the experiments at LHC and RHIC. Where, radial flow signatures, long range angular correlations and strangeness enhancement have been reported in such small systems. The origin of these phenomena is still under debate.
In this work, the role of jets in high multiplicity pp collisions is investigated using PYTHIA 8 event generator. Different observables are studied for events with and without jets, where the jets are reconstructed using the anti-kT algorithm implemented in FastJet. Particle ratios, average transverse momentum, parameters obtained from the Blast-Wave analysis and event shapes; are studied as a function of the event multiplicity and for the two event classes. A discussion of the results will be done and comparisons with simulations using EPOS 3 will be presented.
